Wonderland Trail
Exactly what the name sounds like, Wonderland Trail, was truly a beauty and worthwhile. It is a 1.5 mile round-trip walk that is flat and leads to the ocean. Providing people with wonderful views of the national park hitting the water, this is definitely a trail I recommend taking! Along the trail, you’ll truly feel that you’re walking in a stunning wonderland!

Beech Cliffs Trail
This is an easy-to-moderate trail that’s a 1.8-mile round trip with views of Eagle Lake. It has relatively difficult patches where you’re basically climbing on the rock-face of a mountain! Beech Cliffs Trail is suitable for most hikers but you definitely want to be a bit experienced before choosing to go all the way up. The view and hike is completely worth it, and everyone should go if given the opportunity! I recommend it one hundred percent!

The Independent Cafe
We were looking for a quick lunch place and The Independent Cafe fit our needs and wants. The cafe sells baked goodies, seafood and veggie paninis, burgers, soups, and more! We took our food and ate it at Grant Park with the view of Bar Harbor! The meal was absolutely fantastic and I would love to eat at The Independent Cafe again!

Grant Park & Shore Path
A hidden gem known as Grant Park, which we stumbled upon while looking for parking at Bar Harbor Downtown, is a place totally worth your time! Right behind downtown, there is the Shore Path that takes you along the harbor and Grant Park, and it provides great views of islands and the ocean. It is a flat, 0.5-mile walk with various photo opportunities!
